The MTS 2 has been purposely equipped with a limited number of ready-to-operate modules. It therefore takes a matter of just a few hours to construct the entire system. The integrated decentralised controller along with the identification system ensure that every workpiece pallet manages to take the correct route through the entire system even when different types of products are being assembled simultaneously.

Reusable
The modular construction can be reused for the next generation of a product range, demonstrating once again how economical the system is. The electrical and pneumatic installation remain completely unaffected when the system is converted or extended. Even the control programs can be reused without having to make any modifications.
Keep a check on production
If many types of products are manufactured in small batches, the systematic planning of each assembly stage and a clear status of the orders in production is of vital importance. This is ensured by MLT assembly control technology software which has been designed specifically for MTS 2 under Windows NT.
