New: DVD The seven types of waste
Using the example of a father who prepares waffles for his children arriving home from school, the seven types of waste are presented in a practical, everyday example.

The components in the Manual Production Systems from Rexroth comprise an efficient, comprehensive means of production. Wasteful processes can be substantially reduced using Manual Production Systems, since the assembly principle associated with these systems is easy to put into practice. Manual production systems meet all the requirements for “lean production” – starting with production timed to the customer’s cycles, through the pull and zero faults principle, and up to the one-piece-flow. The user is now able to avoid overproduction and reduce costly stocks. As the entire flow becomes more and more transparent, wait times are eliminated and transport distances reduced. Manual Production Systems thus form the basis for continual improvements and step-by-step investment in production equipment.

The kanban principle calls for less material in the continual production flow. Instead of stocking parts which eat up capital, only the components actually needed for the order are supplied and delivered for production. Rexroth supplies a modular system for this purpose which can be individually designed and delivered as either an assembly kit or fully assembled.

The three pillars of Manual Production Systems from Rexroth
The Manual Production Systems consist of three pillars – workstations and workstation accessories which can be freely configured, material supply, and manual linking. Workstations and flow rack systems can be arranged according to specific needs and later converted or expanded flexibly.
Simple connection technology, as well as compatibility with all products in the Rexroth Modular System, facilitates quick construction and conversion.
