Footrest system advantages:
Footrests from the MPS line allow optimum posture from an ergonomic standpoint, in accordance with the Rexroth sit-down/stand-up principle. This avoids circulatory, spinal, and skeletal problems. Efficiency and work quality remain at a high level. Attention to good ergonomic design is especially necessary because of the increasing average age of workers in production.
The basic rules of ergonomic design and the correct adjustment of the footrest are described in our Ergonomics Guidebook.

For each application and workstation, we offer the matching footrests:

- The Economic footrest is recommended for cyclical assembly workstations that are used frequently and seldom need adjustment. The footrest is mounted directly to the table frame, but it can be adjusted by loosening the screws. The front edge is protected against premature wear by a U-shaped aluminum profile. Also available in an ESD version.

- The Basic footrest is recommended for cyclical assembly workstations with more frequent changing of operating personnel. It is easily height-adjustable by each individual user from a sitting position. The attachment kit allows you to mount the footrest to either the table frame or the free-standing support frame. Also available in an ESD version.

- The separately available support frame allows free-standing placement of the Basic footrest under the workstations.

- The rubber profile is recommended for non-cyclical assembly workstations or walk-up stations that are used only occasionally. Hard impact edges on the continuous lower profile strut of the workstation are avoided. It provides a cost-effective alternative to the other footrests. The profile is made of EPDM, is ESD-capable, and matches the 40 mm and 45 mm profiles.
