DHC - Diesel Hydraulic Control
Approaches for TIER 4 final
As TIER 4 final becomes valid in 2014 only around 10% of today’s soot and NOx emissions will be permitted. This will require comprehensive exhaust gas treatment. As a supplier, Rexroth is also involved with these challenges, with the emphasis on being an expert solutions partner for OEM.

Solution approaches for TIER 4 final

With Diesel Hydraulic Control Rexroth has developed a new control strategy that offers the accustomed performance of travel and working hydraulics even under diminished load assumption response and reduced engine speeds. The basis for DHC is CAN communication, which is provided by the integration of the comprehensive knowledge of Rexroth in hydraulics and Bosch in engine management. Optimizing the dynamics and efficiency meets the challenge of providing power at reduced engine speeds, saving fuel and reducing emissions. DHC thereby helps also to meet the pending TIER 4 final requirements.
