| The central element of this drive concept is the new A30VG 2-circuit variable pump, which provided two identical oil flows. The pump is used in a closed circuit together with the MCR hydraulic motors. The A30VG is a 10-piston pump. The flow from each group of 5 pistons is combined and fed to one vehicle side. The oil flow is so precise that no further regulation using valves is necessary. This means the system is highly energy-efficient. Previous solutions required two pumps and/or a flow divider. The inherent principle of these designs meant energy loss at the valves.

The A30VG works in a closed circuit up to 350 bar and is available in size 28.
