EPC Electronic Positive Control

Pressure sensors are integrated into the hydraulic pilot control lines of the Positive Control System, which convert the hydraulic command signals into electrical signals. These are fed back to the BODAS-RC controller where they are processed. Independent, optimized pump management, whereby the pump and valve are hydraulically decoupled, is the result of EHbasic.
The current power consumption of the hydraulic system is detected by pressure sensors in the pump line as well as by the signals for pump displacement. Only the pump flow is generated which is actually needed for optimal power balance. In addition, with EHbasic the pump flow rate can be reduced when the maximum system pressure is reached.
A separate pressure cut-off on the pumps is no longer needed.

VBO Virtual Bleed Off

The outstanding features of a standard open center system are full-flow open center as well as the resulting load sensitivity. Specially developed VBO software and an electrically pressure-regulated pump are used to electronically reproduce the standard OC system with no energy loss. The electronic conversion of VBO takes place in a 2-circuit system using the pressure-regulated pump with angle sensor and a closed center M9 control block, actuated with EHbasic.
In VBO the flow rate, but also especially the pressure rise are specified by the software. This enables new matching concepts between the hydraulic system and diesel engine in TIER 4 diesel engines. Using the electrically pressure-regulated pump the maximum system pressure as well as individual consumer pressure can be safeguarded using variable pressure cut-off with no addition of components.
