Marex OS II – the latest generation of electronic remote control systems for ship propulsions stands for the consequential advancement and extension of the product range. The latest extension, the control head type 244 offers modern design and new functions due to additional buttons.
Based on the reliable control head type 240 in the yacht design, type 244 was developed. Via additional keys on the integrated operating panel the functions trolling and synchronization can be selected directly in case of the type 244. Also the key "Slip & Grip" has been added. This is the combination of trolling in the lower engine speed range and normal reversing gear behaviour at higher engine speeds.
The control head type 244 will come into the market in different designs, which differentiate in the arrangement of the keypads.
Generally, the control heads from Rexroth are characterized by a variety of different versions. So, the reliable control head type 230 with illuminated scale is available in different colours and alternatively with handles made of wood.
According to the type of vessel different control heads can be combined in a system or further special functions can be integrated. The hand-held remote control, interfaces to safety systems, monitoring and other external application systems can easily be connected due to serial signal and data transfer via CAN bus with corresponding interface modules.
By marex OS II Rexroth offer a remote control system which is type-approved by the most important classification societies.
Besides the system competence Rexroth has the knowledge and experience from more than 50 years of marine technology.
