eLINE Guide Rails with Corrosion-resistant Steel Inserts in Accordance with DIN EN 10088

eLINE guide rails with corrosion-resistant steel inserts in accordance with DIN EN 10088 in combination with eLINE roller runner blocks.
The guide rails in Rexroth’s eLINE profiled rail systems are now also available with corrosion-resistant steel inserts. They therefore now make it possible, especially when combined with eLINE roller runner blocks, to create applications which are completely protected against corrosion, as required in certain areas of the medical technology sector, the food industry and the electronics industry. The load capacity remains just as high in spite of the corrosion-resistant material used for the ball tracks in the guide rails. The extra cost is in the region of just 5 percent for a single linear motion system comprised of two runner blocks on a one meter guide rail.

Rexroth developed the eLINE range of rail systems for applications associated with the manufacture of light-weight machinery and for plants and devices used for simple handling and assembly work, or in peripheral machine equipment and transportation solutions. Here it is economical realization in combination with high loading capacity that counts, with requirements and rigidity being only of secondary importance.

The runner blocks and guide rails are light weight, highly resistant to corrosion and of compact design while offering the same load capacity in all four principal load directions. A special feature is that it is possible to use two different roller element systems on a single rail - ball runner blocks and roller runner blocks. The extended interchangeability with the same connection dimensions makes logistics much simpler because the components can be ordered individually, and also increases design flexibility. This is also helped by the range of available accessories such as the clamping elements, for example, which are available for all three sizes. For special applications the facing surfaces on the guide rails can be delivered complete with a special black coating in order to further reduce the glare effect in optical testing or measuring equipment, for example. And with rollers on guide journals, individually available separately, the user can build his own mobile table with integrated guides himself.
