Rexroth has expanded its range of miniature ball rail system products by adding long versions of the wide runner blocks to supplement the standard length versions. They are the optimum solution for applications involving the kinds of higher loads associated with automation and handling, for example, where smooth running is essential, and are absolutely ideal for single-rail applications involving two or even just one runner block.
The new wide and long runner blocks have a 40 percent higher dynamic load capacity and 100 percent higher torque capacity compared to previous standard length runner blocks. Like all of Rexroth’s miniature ball rail systems these runner blocks are designed for speeds of up to 3 m/s and accelerations of up to 250 m/s².
In combination with single-piece guide rails, which Rexroth supplies for all sizes up to 2000 millimeters in length, they can be used to achieve new structural solutions at very low cost. The guide rails are also available, as before, as multi-piece versions as well of course.
The rails can also be supplied with the fixing holes sealed with a non-corrosive cover strip, which is available as an option. This eliminates the need for the effort involved in sealing the holes with plastic plugs and also provides a more effective seal while looking better at the same time.
