A Rexroth shipliftis the most efficient means to dock and un-dock a ship. A complete shipliftsystem does not only consist of a lifting system with a platform, but also of a transfer system for horizontal transport on the yard.
The shiplift itself consists of a steel structural platform that is connected to a number of winch or hoist systems. Generally the winches run synchronized, although it is also possible to bring the platform under list and trim.
Bosch Rexroth offers shipliftswith hydraulic cylinders as hoists and hydraulically or electrically driven winches. Currently ourshipliftwinch is the most compact, designed to purpose, winch on the market.
