Hydraulic cylinders adjust the parabolic troughs in small and precise steps over a range of approximately 210°. Integrated, load lowering valves ensure that even changing wind speeds do not affect the accuracy of the adjustments. Between movements, the hydraulics can be switched off, thereby saving energy. Low-friction seals enable smooth adjustments.
The hydraulic power unit, with highly integrated construction, drives everything. The maintenance-friendly design minimizes maintenance time and the industry-proven switching valves reliably and precisely control the actuators for more than 10 million cycles.
All components of the entire system are designed so that they can withstand the ambient conditions for a very long time:
