Bosch Rexroth has further expanded its range of solutions for Food and Beverage applications with the new MH1 series of Stainless Steel Air Preparation equipment.

(Lexington, KY – www.boschrexroth-us.com/brp) The MH1 series includes air filters, pressure regulators, coalescing filters and combination filter-regulators in two body sizes with ¼” and ½” ports in NPT and ISO-G BSPP. All of the external parts are made from acid-resistant 316 stainless steel and machined to a sanitary design for areas where contact with food is possible. Modules are pre-lubricated with food-grade grease. Furthermore, the product is constructed entirely from materials suitable for use in food and beverage preparation and packaging. The sanitary design eliminates exposed threads, knurling and crevices where external material such as food tends to withstand machine wash down.

MH1 series filters are available with 5 micron particulate elements or 0.01 micron coalescing elements as standard. Other levels of filtration are available. Condensate bowls are fitted with a manual drain operator as standard, and an optional impulse drain (drains when bowl is pressurized) is available.

MH1 pressure regulators are available with integrated reverse-flow check option for installation downstream of pneumatic valves. This simplifies the piping of pneumatic valve manifolds while increasing the efficiency of the compressed air system. A tapped relief port allows relief air to be conducted away from food areas. The pressure regulators are also suitable for use with inert gasses and can be field converted to non-relieving function. Combination filter-regulators and coalescing filter-regulators in “piggyback” format are offered as standard.
