The TK iT House First residential home built out of Rexroth aluminum structural framing, the "TK iT House". Aluminum framing from Rexroth features such a high strength to weight ratio, it’s now being used as the structural framing system for TK Architecture’s iT House, referred to by the architect as “The Mini Cooper of homes.” The bolt-together nature of the aluminum framing system means the house can be constructed in just 8 weeks, and the t-slots in each extruded aluminum profile provide a uniform surface to which numerous items can be mounted, such as curtains and shelving.
