SERCOS – Motion, Safety and I/O
SERCOS North America is pleased to announce a FREE one-day seminar on SERCOS – Motion, Safety and I/O to be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel near Chicago’s O’Hare airport.
This seminar will update the motion engineer on the latest features and functions of the SERCOS interface for the most demanding automation challenges, including:
- Overview of fiber-optic based SERCOS II.
- Introduction to the new Ethernet-based SERCOS III.
- Discussion of CIP Safety on SERCOS, which uses CIP Safety as the functional safety protocol on SERCOS III.
- Description of the new advanced I/O features of SERCOS.
- Introduction to the SERCOS Controller-to-Controller Profile, which allows communication between controllers and even between individual nodes on different SERCOS rings.
- Presentation of complete SERCOS III automation solutions.
