WebMIS - Rexroth's web-based analysis tool for higher productivity
Accelerate
your productivity with WebMIS from Rexroth - a comprehensive tool for the recording,
visual presentation and optimization of operational and production data.
This web-based analysis tool includes a multitude of pre-configured analysis
graphics and tables for the analysis of weaknesses and machine optimization.
With the aid of the joint recording of machine signals, stoppage causes and
fault messages, machine or plant failures can be identified any time. In the
process, it is made immediately clear whether the fault is a technical one or
an organizational one, thus permitting the rapid localization and remedy of
interference and bottlenecks. The recorded data can be presented either on a
machine-specific basis or in comparison with several machines. Thanks to the
production of machine indices such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness),
for example, or utilization ratio and availability, the entire production network
is made transparent and can be optimized with selective measures. The long-term
monitoring of machine signals and presentation in the form of trend curves permits
the clear identification of trending and the continuous improvement of production.
Maintenance personnel can also use these long-term measurements for timely predictive
maintenance work, thereby eliminating expensive non-production times.
Permanent analysis of process operations in this way permits the identification
of weaknesses in production and the achievement of major increases in machine
availability.
Thanks to the standardized control system interface (OPC) and data storage
system (MSDE/SQL) this solution is suitable for universal use that is independent
of the machine. With virtually unlimited scalability, it is possible for data
to be acquired and presented - from a single machine to an entire production
system. The web-based user interface offers optimized screens that display analysis
graphics on any computer in the machinery network. Online diagnostic functions
and clear configuration menus provide support for the installer when setting
up the networked system and therefore offer a high level of operating convenience
- not only for analysis, but from the very beginning of commissioning.
WebMIS was developed on the basis of international standards and is therefore
capable of straightforward integration in all machine networks (Ethernet TCP/IP).
Data is acquired on the machines at all times - even in the case of network
failure, thanks to a buffer on the local controller computer.

Version 23VRS software for SYSTEM 200 platform
Bosch Rexroth
continues to build on this open architecture technology with the MTC 200 and
digital intelligent SERCOS drives. These technologies significantly increase
the workpiece quality and maximize productivity. The future-oriented concept
with open control architecture offers you all the advantages of PC technology.
However, the MTC 200 was specifically designed for reliable operation of today’s
advanced production machines.
The MTC 200 system combines the total functionality of a CNC and PLC control,
including the complete drive technology. In this combination you receive an
optimized scalable system solution, whether you want to control a compact stand-alone
machine or a complex production system.
With MTC 200 performance, you improve productivity with clearly shorter cycle
times and reduce fault recovery and downtime by using very powerful ProVi contact
level diagnostics. The MTC 200 was specifically designed for applications including
transfer machines, inter-linked production machines and cell systems, machining
centers, lathes and turning centers, drilling systems, and integrated automation
equipment.

IndraDrive - Rexroth's latest generation of digital
intelligent drives with integrated PLC
With
its modular, scalable design, drive-integrated PLC and built-in safety functionality,
the IndraDrive M is a complete, intelligent solution to food and packaging automation
tasks. The new Rexroth IndraDrive M digital drive system provides greater precision,
higher productivity and better performance than previous drive-system models.
Scalable Functionality - IndraDrive M incorporates Rexroth servo-drive
and frequency-converter technology into one platform. With an optional drive-integrated,
IEC61131-3-compliant PLC onboard, plus built-in safety technology and motion
function-block programming, the IndraDrive M eliminates the need for a traditional
PLC on small machines. The integrated PLC also provides programming and parameterization
through a single interface. The IndraDrive M supports all standard communication
protocols, including SERCOS, PROFIBUS, CANopen, DeviceNet and INTERBUS, as well
as analog and parallel interfaces. In addition, the drive units can be equipped
with additional encoder interfaces, industry-specific technology functions and
cross-synchronization options.
Scalable Power - IndraDrive M's modular platform offers cost-effective
scalability in terms of power. The drives units, available as servo or vector,
cover the entire output spectrum -- from 1.5 to 120 kW. The power supply units
are available as either regenerative or non-regenerative units. Both open- and
closed-loop servo versions are available on the same platform. This makes it
easy to use only one unique drive package with the same interfaces, power section
and start-up tool for food and packaging machines with different requirements.
Scalable Safety - IndraDrive M fulfills the industry's demand to implement
time-critical and safety-relevant functionality into the drive. The IndraDrive
M is available with integrated safety technology that complies with EN 954-1,
Category 3 -- a crucial new safety standard for European machines. This means
the IndraDrive M requires no additional hardware or indirect control solutions.

IndraDyn H - The latest generation of high-speed
synchronous motors
With
their extremely wide constant-output-power (field-weakening) ranges, short ramp-up-to-speed
times and low rotor temperatures, these Rexroth motors are ideal for use in
main spindles and other high-speed applications.
IndraDyn H synchronous motors from Rexroth are kit motors which have been optimized
for high torque without compromising their high speeds. They consist of a three-phase-wound
stator and a permanent-magnet rotor. IndraDyn H motors offer a unique combination
of the advantages of synchronous motor technology with the operational characteristics
of asynchronous motors. With their extremely wide constant-output-power (field-weakening)
ranges, short ramp-up-to-speed times and low rotor temperatures, these motors
are ideal for use in main spindles and other high-speed applications. IndraDyn
H motors can provide up to 6,500 Nm of torque and can achieve speeds of up to
30,000 rpm. Acceleration times are up to 2.5 times faster than for comparable
asynchronous motors.
The innovative cooling system, enclosed within the stator, reduces costs and
work for the machine builder while maximizing cooling efficiency. In addition,
the power and cooling connections are standardized for quick and easy connections.
IndraDyn H motors are designed for operation with bus voltages of up to 750
V. The motor windings are protected against thermal overload by integrated temperature
sensors. IndraDyn H motors, when used with Rexroth's new intelligent digital
drive family, IndraDrive, eliminate the need for external protection. Uncontrollable
costs associated with the failure of these control electronics are therefore
eliminated.
