Pressure control valves limit the maximum amount of pressure in a complete or branch circuit and provide pressure ranges from minimum to 365psi (full range), and from minimum to 9000+ psi.

Relief Valves
Defining the maximum system pressure achievable is the role of a relief valve. Even for circuits in which the pump may have an integral maximum pressure control, an independent relief valve provides additional redundancy. Rexroth relief valves define pressure ranges from "minimum" to "maximum"; we do not stack ranges as do competitors.
Multi-Function Valves
"Multi-Fuction" valves, as the name implies, may be configured to operate as Sequence, Counter Balance, Over-Running load, or Unloading valves. In contrast to a "relief" valve, the "multi-fuction" valve incorporates additional dampening to reduce instability during transition.

Pressure-Reducing Valves
Applicable in circuits where the desired maximum system pressure exceeds the requirements in a branch circuit, the reducing valve provides a solution. Available in subplate, in-line, cartridge and "sandwich" module mounting configurations, Rexroth has a complete array of "reducing/relieving" products.
