Earth’s energy reserves are limited and are being consumed at an ever increasing rate by growing energy consumption. This means it is incumbent on all of us to preserve the existing resources and use them as efficiently as possible. This protects our environment while reducing costs.
To prevent waste of valuable energy on mobile work and construction machinery, modern hydraulic systems make it possible to temporarily store excess or released energy from the machines so as to make it available later for assisting the combustion engine and other functions. The Hydraulic Fly Wheel HFW was developed particularly in response to situations encountered in connection with modern diesel engines according to EURO 3B and TIER 4 interim.
