Product Safety Notice Lenze gearmotors in Bosch Rexroth TSplus, TS4plus, TS5 and VarioFlow conveyors Bosch Rexroth recently encountered IN ITS FACTORY an isolated problem with certain gearmotors supplied by Lenze. In two cases, the internal ground (PE) wire was found to be improperly terminated. Additional investigation of gearmotors in Bosch Rexroth’s possession has not revealed any further instances. However, Bosch Rexroth wants to provide notification of this potential problem with respect to Lenze gearmotors already in operation. If you are a user, reseller or system integrator of Bosch Rexroth TSplus, TS4plus, TS5 or VarioFlow conveyors, please read the bulletins on this page for more information on the specific products that may be affected. Note: These gearmotors are NOT used in conjunction with lift transfer modules, lift transverse modules, transverse conveyor modules with a toothed belt media, or in any modules in TS1 systems. The documents on this page describe precisely which products are affected, as well as how to verify that the problem is not present in any Lenze gearmotors you are using that are in this group of products. NOTE: These procedures should ONLY be performed by properly authorized personnel, fully trained and certified for electrical maintenance work.
