| As the most important trade show for the environment and waste disposal, IFAT ENTSORGA has made impressively clear how various the applications, technologies and customer demands are in this field. The topics ranged from the omnipresent issue of energy efficiency, which is often equated with fuel savings, to functional aspects such as control capability or vehicle integration to ergonomic-health aspects such as noise levels. Our presence reflected this broad spectrum. | | Rexroth offers solutions for example for waste collection vehicles, which through use of the familiar HRB hydraulic hybrid drive from Rexroth can save up to 25 percent of fuel and the corresponding amount of CO2. Self-compacting containers use the Silence Plus external gear pump to achieve significantly lower noise levels. Our new ‘High Efficiency Traction Control – HET’ improves the function and energy efficiency of municipal vehicles by using an automatically engaged all-wheel drive. |
