The PROFIBUS fieldbus interface has been used successfully for many years in automated manufacturing technology and process automation. This bus system is the means by which the control system cyclically exchanges with the bus users all the specified and actual values, including status signals and diagnostic messages. The correct interface for connecting the IndraDyn motors or other standardized encoders, such as Hiperface^®, is already integrated.
