Following customer-centric further development, Bosch Rexroth's intelligent compact power unit is now even more practical and, with new options, covers a wider range of applications
In close alignment with its customers, Bosch Rexroth has further developed the intelligent CytroPac compact hydraulic power unit. The new generation expands its area of application with optional functional modules. Integrated sensor technology and connectivity options simplify monitoring to ensure maximum system availability. Additionally, the plug-and-play solution features a new cover with status indicator. The optimized motor-pump combination enhances energy efficiency.
The CytroPac compact hydraulic power unit from Bosch Rexroth combines unmatched power density with energy efficiency and a new level of operating convenience. To better meet market demands, Bosch Rexroth has further developed the new generation of the intelligent compact hydraulic power unit based on customer feedback.
For instance, the interchangeable function modules enhance flexibility in practical applications: In addition to the filter module for cleaning the return flow, the CytroPac is optionally available with a leakage oil module, which returns larger volume flows with almost no pressure and significantly reduces air ingress. As another option, Bosch Rexroth offers a valve module for attaching manifolds. This allows hydraulic control functions to be implemented quickly and easily via multistation manifolds. Thanks to its modular concept, the second generation of the compact hydraulic power unit is ideally suited for machine tools, plastic injection molding, and similar applications. For the North American market, a UL-certified variant is available that meets the safety requirements of Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
Technical innovations include improved heat exchange through a specialized aluminum cooling plate. The integrated frequency converter often eliminates the need for a control cabinet, significantly simplifying engineering. The integrated motor-pump assembly has also been optimized: Compared to conventional small hydraulic power units with the same power output, up to 80% of the energy requirement can be saved while achieving significantly quieter operation.
New in the area of connectivity is an MQ15 Ethernet port for data exchange, with the M12 power connection now being standard. Thanks to integrated sensor monitoring, temperature and fluid level values can be continuously read via fieldbus for extended monitoring. The intelligent maintenance solution CytroConnect Solutions enhances availability through real-time monitoring, data-based analysis, or predictive maintenance.
The operating concept, featuring a wizard for easy commissioning, has been expanded to include a new cover with an optionally integrated HMI for status display. This enhances the operating convenience of the plug-and-play product solution, which is delivered pre-assembled and tested.
