Gearboxes for mobile applications


Rexroth planetary gearboxes with their wide range of gear ratios and torques are available with numerous Rexroth hydraulic motors. Within the Rexroth eLION portfolio for the electrification of mobile machines, Rexroth gearboxes are also available with electric motors.

Its wide range of applications includes propel drives in tracked vehicles, wheel gears (hub drives), swing drives for rotary motion as well as winch drives for lifting and lowering loads. As part of eLION, Rexroth offers central drives (speed spur gear drives) for axle-driven vehicles to achieve electric drivetrains for both two- and four-wheel drives. They are also available as multi-speed manual gearboxes.

  • For wheel-driven harvesters with single-wheel drive
  • Can be combined with Rexroth’s extensive line of motors
  • Torque output 42000 Nm
  • Through the planetary gearbox implemented TIS solution
  • No additional vehicle width through external piping

  • For travel drives in wheeled and tracked vehicles
  • Three or four-stage planetary gearbox
  • Can be combined with SMG electric motors from Bosch and others
  • Perfect matching of the gearbox ratio with the electric motor
