Device Connectivity

  • Rexroth Connectivity Unit (RCU), the Bosch Rexroth telematics control unit, combined with Device Software and Nexeed Device Management, a Bosch software solution
  • Web-based front end: Nexeed Device Portal
  • SIM handling & device status information is passed from the RCU to the cloud and displayed in the Device Portal
  • CAN bus scanning: electronic devices connected to the CAN bus can be discovered
  • Services Over-the-Air (xOTA):
    - SOTA: RCU software updates are distributed over-the-air
    - FOTA: Firmware of electronic control units (ECU) are distributed over-the-air
    - POTA: Update parameter set on the selected Rexroth Controller (RC)
    - DOTA: Read and delete errors and diagnostic information from a connected RC
