Overview
Together with its Certified Excellence partner companies Amsler & Co. AG, FMS-Technik AG and New Ingenia SA, Bosch Rexroth will be presenting automation solutions for the flexible manufacturing of tomorrow at SINDEX from September 5 to 7, 2023 in Bern, Switzerland. As a local contact, partner companies offer quickly available products and engineering services through to fully assembled systems. They combine the stability and competence of a large company with the flexibility and agility of medium-sized companies – directly in the vicinity of the customers.
More openness and freedom in automation
The automation toolkit ctrlX AUTOMATION provides all hardware and software components for highly flexible automation solutions. With the Linux real-time operating system, fully open standards, app programming technology, web-based engineering and comprehensive IoT connectivity, ctrlX AUTOMATION reduces component and engineering effort by 30 to 50 percent.
Modern linear motion technology saves time, costs, and resources
In the field of linear motion technology, Bosch Rexroth is speeding up the engineering processes for individual components and smart mechatronic subsystems with coordinated e-tools. For example, a pre-installed operating software with a virtual assistant ensures that the commissioning time of these subsystems is reduced by up to 80 percent. High load capacities, the integration of additional functions, and coordinated and preassembled complete solutions contribute to improved performance and cost efficiency in production.
Thanks to longer lubrication intervals, our ball rail systems can cover up to 20,000 kilometers without relubrication, while our ball screw assemblies achieve up to 200 million revolutions with basic lubrication. As a result, users not only save operating materials but can also make an important contribution to save resources.
More stable linear bushings for more cost-effective round guides
As a result of the optimized production process, the segmental linear bushings with plastic cage achieve a load capacity that is up to 20 percent higher and a service life that is up to 70 percent longer. As a component of Rexroth round guides with matching shafts, they are used in a variety of industries – from factory automation and the production and packaging of fast moving consumer goods to semiconductor manufacturing and the machine tool industry. Thanks to the higher load capacities and the resulting downsizing options, applications can be made even safer, more cost-effective and more sustainable.
AMR as a Plug and Go solution
The autonomous mobile robot (AMR) ACTIVE Shuttle from Bosch Rexroth can be implemented quickly and without adapting the existing factory infrastructure. It communicates with the master controller via the standardized VDA 5050 interface. It makes it easier to operate mixed fleets with tractors, forklift trucks or AMRs and avoids interoperability problems during day-to-day operations. As a Plug and Go solution, the ACTIVE Shuttle automates cyclical transport tasks as well as the needs-based supply of materials. The comprehensive safety concept meets Performance Level d requirements in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1.
