Innovative Rexroth Range Is Celebrated For Its Energy Efficiency

Rexroth’s innovative variable speed pump range Sytronix, has been shortlisted in the Energy Awards 2011 as a leading energy and cost effective solution.

One of the variable speed pump models in the Sytronix range Rexroth’s innovative Sytronix variable speed pumps have been recognised by the Energy Awards 2011 in its Energy Efficient Product of the Year category.

The Sytronix range provides the best of both worlds – the reliability of powerful hydraulics with the energy efficiency and dynamics of compact eletronics and variable speeds. Plus, energy savings of between 30% and 80% provide a rapid return on investment.

Andrew Collins, Machinery Applications and Engineering Sales manager at Bosch Rexroth, said:” In pressure generation, the use of innovative Sytronix speed-variable pump drives offers great potential for saving energy costs and reducing noise pollution. These results are achieved by reducing the speed of the electric motor and thus the power consumption thanks to intelligent frequency converters.

“Having the Sytronix range shortlisted in the Energy Awards 2011 is a great privilege and we’re excited to hear the result in December.”

Rexroth Sytronix comprises of a comprehensive modular system of pumps, controllers and motors as well as software. Depending on the cycle characteristics and configuration, the variable-speed pump drives can reduce energy consumption in the most varied applications by 30 to 80 percent.Further information on Bosch Rexroth can be found at www.boschrexroth.co.uk.
