Servo presses

Servo presses in sheet-metal working combine the productivity of conventional mechanical presses with the flexibility of a hydraulic press. Unlike conventional mechanical presses the slide motion is extremely flexible in being able to adapt itself to the respective metal forming process. The motion curves of the press are freely programmable, meaning that the system can be quickly configured for the production of different components.

  • Slide motion reversible in every position; high level of flexibility, as slide speeds and motion sequences are individually programmable
  • Short tool-changing times thanks to swift adaptability of the motion functions to the part currently being produced
  • Full torque attainable from 1 stroke/min
  • Energy management: Energy storage in the event of a loss of power and reduction in power peaks
  • Flexible tray-out operation: slide motion reversible in every position
  • Hydraulics for the control of assemblies such as e.g. die cushion
  • Simple standard power units for tensioning and clamping functions
