Press transfer

Press transfer systems are designed for use in stepped workpiece transport in multi-stage forming presses. They can be used either for gripper rail transfer or vacuum transfer. Electronic transfer technology can be applied with optionally two or three moving axes.

 
 

Requirements of components/ systems:

  • Precision electronic synchronization of transfer to the press for all press stroke lengths
  • Integrated safety functions such as redundant motor and press transmitters
  • Anti-collision strategy for in the event of a power cut with programmable fault response
