Bosch Rexroth signs Memorandum of Understanding at GMI’s Industry Advisory Council Summit

Bosch Rexroth recently participated in the German-Malaysian Institute's (GMI) Industry Advisory Council (IAC) Summit held in Kajang, Malaysia. The summit, led by Deputy Prime Minister Dato' Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi, focused on the theme "Malaysia Landscape: Towards Professional TVET" and aimed to foster collaboration between industries and academia in the field of technical and vocational education.

One of the highlights of the summit was the signing of a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between GMI and various German industry players, including Bosch Rexroth. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of vocational education across the country by leveraging the expertise, innovative technologies, and extensive experience of the industry.

The Malaysian government aims to seeks insights and wisdom from Germany's experiences and to learn from the best practices that have elevated the German vocational programme to an international benchmark. The aim is to produce TVET graduates who are well-prepared for the workforce with skills ready for the job.

By being part of the IAC, Bosch Rexroth not only demonstrates dedication to excellence in both technology and education but is also well-placed to contribute directly to the development of curricula that align with industry needs with its extensive years of involvement in didactics.
