The Hägglunds Atom from Bosch Rexroth Voted a 2021 IDEA! Award Winner

Compact hydraulic motor earns recognition from readers of Machine Design and Hydraulics & Pneumatics

The Hägglunds Atom from Bosch Rexroth was named a winner in the motors and drives category of the 2021 IDEA! Awards.

An annual showcase for outstanding product development, this year’s IDEA! Award winners were selected in mid-2021 by readers of industry-leading publications Machine Design and Hydraulics & Pneumatics.

The Hägglunds Atom is a compact, lightweight hydraulic motor that delivers a maximum torque of up to 13.6 kNm and a specific torque of 40 Nm/bar. Since the motor can supply full torque at its top speed of 400 rpm, it offers a best-in-class maximum power of 394 kW.

Engineered to withstand harsh environments, the power-dense Hägglunds Atom is ideal for mobile, marine and recycling operations that demand both robust, reliable design and high performance. It easily handles shock loads at peak pressures of up to 420 bar, which makes it well suited for smaller shredders and other machines in tough and unpredictable applications.

The Hägglunds Atom is a revamped and renamed version of the Hägglunds CAb.
