Bosch Rexroth focuses on maximizing productivity and energy efficiency for IMTS 2012

Company to feature automation technology products and systems for CNC and machine tool applications to help reduce energy consumption, improve safety, maximize performance and minimize downtime.

Bosch Rexroth will exhibit a broad range of automation products and systems for improving productivity and energy efficiency, as well as safety and training in machine tool and CNC applications, at IMTS 2012, booth E-5000, September 10-15 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL.

The drive and control company will feature products from its electric drives and controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, linear motion and assembly technology areas, demonstrating how Rexroth components and systems work together to provide a complete integrated automation platform.

Booth highlights include:

Increased Productivity

Regardless if the goal is to automate a production machine for cutting or control a networked system for large-scale production, Rexroth’s automation platforms, like the IndraMotion MTX CNC control system, are designed to increase productivity. Modular hardware and software and the open system architecture allow Rexroth controls to be integrated in many different machine concepts. The exceptional performance of the control and the powerful, highly dynamic drives reduce machining and downtimes.

Energy Efficiency

Rexroth understands how to leverage and increase potential energy savings across multiple technologies, and the company’s 4EE approach helps identify and exploit all areas in which energy can be saved, from design, to operation, to modernization.

Safety and Training

The requirements for machine safety are increasing around the world. The protection of workers and systems according to standards must not, however, stand in the way of increased productivity. Whether designing a new system or changing an existing one, customers can achieve better performance, better ergonomics, less downtime and a higher degree of flexibility with Rexroth Safety on Board. The company also offers a wide variety of technical training in both hands-on and electronic formats to help keep organizations safe and productive through education in hydraulics, pnuematics, linear motion, and mechatronic systems.

Rexroth experts will also be available at IMTS 2012 to discuss a wide range of products including: Electrohydraulic controls and systems; pneumatic solutions; linear motion modules and components; assembly and equipment for lean manufacturing; and electric drives, motors, controls and HMIs.
