Bosch Rexroth will exhibit their latest fabricating and metal-forming machine technology and product demonstrations during FABTECH 2016 November 16-18 in Las Vegas. Experts will be available for attendees to ask questions at booth C24080 in the Central Hall with products and content that span the forming, fabricating, welding and finishing industries.

Leading the exhibit list are Rexroth’s scalable, computer numerically controlled (CNC) solutions, which include functional safety, a new multi-touch operator interface, WebConnector and OPC UA. Additional technologies on display include cabinet free electric drive systems, CytroPac , uniform electric and hydraulic axis control (Sercos and EtherCat), integrated measuring systems and, the latest in resistance welding control options . Two of these solutions are highlighted below.

CNC Controls – IndraMotion MTX

The core of Bosch Rexroth’s CNC solutions is the IndraMotion MTX . From the compact and affordable MTX micro with integrated CNC, PLC, drives, and IO, to MTX system controls scalable up to hundreds of axes, there is no equal. The newest platform version supports another multi-core CPU – the CML 75 with up to 64 axes and 12 channels. All MTX systems are Industry 4.0 ready.

Cabinet-free Drive Technology – IndraDrive Mi

The new IndraDrive Mi includes the revolutionary cabinet-free power supply. This innovation eliminates drive electronics from the cabinet and lets machine builders mount a more compact controls enclosure directly to the machine — freeing up valuable plant floor space. The latest generation features additional safety functions, Sercos and multi-Ethernet communication, intelligent control functions and an energy-efficient power supply.

Sercos Multi-vendor Exhibit

Several innovative Rexroth products and technologies will also be on display in the new Sercos automation bus multi-vendor system exhibit, including Motion Logic with IndraControl V PC hardware. The demonstrations will highlight the interoperability of 23 Sercos products from 11 manufacturers featuring real-time motion, CIP Safety on Sercos, pneumatics, encoder systems, fast I/O, hydraulics, gateways and safety controllers.
