Bosch Rexroth’s CytroPac, a micro compact hydraulic power unit, is competing in the Energy Management category for one of Plant Engineering’s Product of the Year awards. This is the 29th year the publication has recognized innovative products that help manufacturing customers reach their operational goals.
CytroPac integrates hydraulic components with a frequency converter, motor, pump and sensor technology in one housing. This housing forms a cabinet-free power unit and allows all hydraulic and electrical components to be connected while using minimum space. CytroPac also simplifies and speeds up commissioning because the only connections required are to the power supply and the communication with the control, as well as to the hydraulic circuit and the cooling water circuit. CytroPac is capable of reducing energy consumption by up to 80 percent, depending on the cycle characteristics. Access the following links for more information on all Bosch Rexroth products, including CytroPac.
Award categories include Apps for Engineers, Asset Management, Automation & Controls, Compressed Air, Electric Motors & Drives, Electrical Safety, Energy Management, Environmental Health, Fluid Handling, Lighting, Maintenance Software, Maintenance Tools & Equipment, Material Handling Systems, Productivity & Training and Safety.
Voting is going on now through December 30, 2016 for Plant Engineering North American print and digital edition subscribers. Subscribers can cast their ballots using this easy online form: https://goo.gl/u6ZW1B . Winners will be revealed in Plant Engineering’s April 2017 issue.
