The IoT Gateway wins in the Software – Industrial Internet of Things Connectivity category of the Engineers’ Choice Awards.

Control Engineering‘s Engineers' Choice Awards highlight the best new control, instrumentation and automation products as chosen by Control Engineering's print and online subscribers. Automation professionals from Control Engineering’s subscriber lists recognize Rexroth’s IoT Gateway as the best in the Software - Industrial Internet of Things Connectivity category.

Bosch Rexroth's IoT Gateway recently won Control Engineering magazine's 2018 Engineers' Choice Award in the Software – Industrial Internet of Things Connectivity category.

Winners and honorable mentions of the 2018 Engineers' Choice Awards were announced in the February edition of Control Engineering, as well as listed online. Control Engineering subscribers chose winners and honorable mentions based on technological advancement, service to the industry and market impact. Additionally, Rexroth's Pure Power filter media won an honorable mention in the Motion Control category and Sytronix DRn 5020 won an honorable mention in the Motion Control - Drives category.

The IoT Gateway makes it easy to connect to Industry 4.0 environments without intervening with the automation logic. The precisely coordinated combination of control hardware and software designed for implementing IT applications collects sensor and process data, transmits it to the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), cloud applications or local machine state monitoring systems and enables process data analysis. The IoT Gateway is a path to bringing legacy machinery into the digital age.

Rexroth, alongside other award winners and honorable mentions, will be recognized on April 16, 2018 in Chicago. For more information on the IoT Gateway, visit .
