Safely assemble with confidence using Bosch Rexroth's ErgoSpin

Rexroth’s handheld CC-ErgoSpin product line enables a higher degree of process reliability and longer work times with minimal fatigue.

With Rexroth’s CC-ErgoSpin product line, users can save money when conducting function-critical tightening operations according to VDI/VDE 2862. The ergonomic handheld nutrunner optimizes the assembly process and reduces scrap. Compared to pneumatic nutrunners, the efficiency and reliability of ErgoSpin ensures better process control and a higher degree of process reliability.

In order to meet the demands for quality cycle time, components, screw, torque and angle of turn have to be perfectly matched. Function-critical tightening operations, which are now found in countless branches of industry, are the specialty of Rexroth‘s CC-ErgoSpin handheld nutrunners. Specially designed for B-tightening operations according to VDI/VDE 2862, the nutrunner determines the required torque via the current control. The user operates and programs the CC-ErgoSpin via the intuitive Rexroth BS350 operating software. It contains statistical tools for detailed analysis of the tightening case. This prevents faulty tightening operations, decreases scrap, minimizes warranty costs and ensures a high degree of process control. The operating software can be used universally with all Rexroth nutrunners for A and B tightening operations.

The CC-ErgoSpin stores up to 99 tightening programs that can be assigned to a specific component using a bar code scanner. This allows for clarity, space and cost-saving benefits. Compared to compressed air technology, CC-ErgoSpin cuts the total cost of ownership in half and uses up to 95 percent less energy. There are four sizes with working ranges from 2.4 to 40 Nm and output speeds of up to 1,090 revolutions per minute are available.

The robust design of the nutrunner allows for long service life and has been tested under full load to one million cycles without maintenance. That makes it a safe and reliable tool, even in difficult environments such as oily workplaces. At the same time, the nutrunner allows for low-fatigue plant work due to its ergonomic handle design and low-vibration operation. Unlike with pneumatic nutrunners, noise production is low and the risks from pressurized airlines are eliminated.
