Bosch Rexroth's Flexible Transport System FTS Earns Three Achievements in 2019

Flexible Transport System

Bosch Rexroth’s Flexible Transport System FTS was recognized with three achievements for its contribution to the industry.

Bosch Rexroth’s Flexible Transport System FTS earned several accomplishments this year. It kicked off 2019 by placing bronze in the Automation & Motion Control: Drives category of the 2019 Golden Mousetrap Awards. On April 8th, Bosch Rexroth attended a ceremony in Chicago to accept awards for winning bronze in the Product of the Year award and an Honorable Mention in the Engineers’ Choice award.

Subscribers of Plant Engineering and Control Engineering voted in categories based on their industry qualifications to ensure credible results. Recipients of Plant Engineering’s Product of the Year and Control Engineering’s Engineers‘ Choice award were recognized at a ceremony in Chicago on April 8, 2019. Additionally, the FTS will be honored online and in the May 2019 issue of Plant Engineering and was featured in the February 2019 issue of Control Engineering. Winners of the Golden Mousetrap award were listed online .

As a modular system based on components, the FTS can be easily integrated into systems and machines. This offers the user full flexibility, both in the selection of motors and drives as well as in programming of individual and synchronized movements. With its contactless drive, the intelligent system can adapt to a number of different production conditions.

The FTS can also operate with high precision in dusty and dirty environments, making it attractive for a large number of fields including the semiconductor industry and battery production. Another unique feature is its suitability for low-speed applications.
