The Austin Customer Innovation Center (CIC) at Round Rock features interactive technology demos that integrate multiple Rexroth factory automation systems, including the company’s ctrlX AUTOMATION platform, Smart MechatroniX systems, TS assembly conveyors, autonomous mobile robot, linear motor-based Flexible Transport System (FTS) and other technologies. The demos allow visitors to see a scaled version of a complete factory automation production line. With a state-of-the-art engineering lab, manufacturing customers and other partners can join engineering teams from Bosch Rexroth globally to address specific factory automation challenges and application, allowing for more immersive digital experiences through virtual connections and digital twin capabilities. With this connection, customers and Rexroth partners can access other technology experts, along with an expanded range of factory automation technologies around the world.
Cordless Tightening Technology
This display showcases Rexroth Nexo Intelligent DC nutrunners with onboard control, as well as the Bosch Exact 18V and 12V production grade clutch based assembly tools.
Also on display is the Rexroth Operator Guidance Software (OGS) which provides an all in one worker guidance/error proofing solution.
Conveyor Rack
The conveyor rack is a static demo consisting of 5 TS conveyor sections, including TS1, TS2plus, and TS5. The demo features 4 medias (belt, flattop chain, roller chain, & powered rollers), as well as pallets and traffic control.
Electromechanical Cylinder EMC-HP
The electromechanical cylinder EMC-HP gives you the reliability and the power to move heavy loads with precision. The EMC-HP actuator has a high accuracy roller screw drive capable of forces up to 100kN.
Smart Function Kit for Handling (SFK4H)
Based on a Cartesian robot, this mechatronic subsystem moves components or workpieces precisely and reliably in a defined space. Proven Rexroth linear axes are combined with innovative control technology and software to create a perfectly tailored system solution. Everything from a single source.
Flexible Transport System (FTS)
Linear motor hybrid conveyor that interacts directly with traditional Rexroth twin-strand conveyors. The FTS not only offers extreme positioning accuracy but also high repeatability and bi-directional movement capabilities.
Kassow – Collaborative Robot (CoBot)
Uniquely efficient industrial collaborative lightweight robots with 7 axes. Despite their large reach, Kassow Robots are extremely powerful, fast and suitable for use in small spaces. What is more, they enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to achieve complex automation and programming flexibly, independently and cost-effectively. Our technology is based on a novel design of both robot controller, user interface and arm mechanics.
PSK Gen II
Precision Modules are ready-to-install linear motion systems that combine high performance with compact dimensions. Machined reference edges on the frame allow fast mounting and easy alignment. By having 2 different accuracy class options (ie. normal and precision), you can find a solution for different applications with flexibility.
Rails & Ball Screws
Our high-quality Ball Rail Systems and Ball Screw Assemblies are designed primarily for general mechanical engineering and tool manufacturing. While the Linear Rail solutions feature performance and long service life, the Ball Screws precisely convert rotary to linear motion.
E-Tools
Easy and intuitive sizing of linear components and systems can be accomplished using Rexroth’s Linear Motion Designer and LinSelect programs. After sizing, perfectly aligned components can be selected with readily available CAD models.
