President and CEO

Paul Cooke was appointed President & CEO of Bosch Rexroth Americas in July 2015. He is the former head of Global Sales and Industry Management at Bosch Rexroth headquarters in Lohr am Main, Germany, as well as former general manager of Bosch Rexroth UK. Cooke began his career with the company in 1982 as a Hydraulics Sales Engineer in the UK. After serving in various roles, he assumed responsibility for Engineering in Great Britain before going on to manage all Industrial Hydraulics activities.

With the merger of Bosch and Rexroth in 2001, Cooke took over responsibility as General Manager and CEO of Bosch Rexroth Ltd., St Neots, Great Britain. In August 2012, he was appointed Senior Vice President of Sales and Industry Management for Machinery Applications and Engineering in Bosch Rexroth’s Industrial Applications business unit, based in Lohr, Germany. In September 2014, he was named Senior Vice President Sales for the complete technology and industry portfolio in the Bosch Rexroth Industrial Applications business unit.

Born in Manchester, Great Britain in 1961, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree with high honor in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

Christoph joined Bosch Rexroth AG, Lohr in March 2009 as Vice President Worldwide Applications, working with SAP FI/CO, BW, CRM and alignment, after holding positions with in-creasing responsibilties in both the IT and Finance sectors. In January 2011,

Christoph became VP Organization and IT Coordination, Bosch Rexroth AG, Lohr, followed in July 2011 by VP Controlling – Divisions and Regions.

In addition, Christoph serves as a member of the Executive Board for Bosch Rexroth Corporation.

Executive Vice President Hydraulics

Erwin Wieckowski has been Executive Vice President of the Mobile Hydraulics division since 2018. His career with the organization began in March 1996 as part of the Canadian subsidiary, Basic Technologies Corp. In Canada, Erwin filled a number of leadership roles including that of National Sales and Marketing Manager where he was responsible Mobile and Industrial Hydraulic sales, as well as, the Automation suite of products. Following a one-year development program in Lohr, Germany, Erwin returned to Canada and assumed the role of General Manager, Automation Group before coming to Charlotte, NC in 2007 to lead the Linear Motion and Assembly Technology business. In 2012, he was named Executive Vice President for Factory Automation. Erwin earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada.

In addition, Erwin serves as a member of the Executive Board for Bosch Rexroth Corporation.

Senior Executive Vice President, Technical & Engineering

Matthias holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and brings a wealth of experience in leadership of Manufacturing and Technical functions.

Most recently, as the Business Unit head of Compact Hydraulics, he has led its successful turnaround. His past experience includes plant management, senior quality leadership, and a variety of related production roles both inside DC and in other Bosch divisions.
