OverviewThe Omega Linear Module OBB is a pre-engineered, belt-driven linear slide that is ready-to-install, can be mounted in any orientation, and is freely configurable up to 5.5 meters. The OBB is designed to meet acceleration speeds up to 50 m/sec2 and achieve speeds up to 5 m/sec, allowing longer movements to be shortened. Moreover, the length of the main body can be configured to a length of 5500 mm, offering widths of 55, 85, 120 mm. Additionally, the OBB is designed with a low traveling system mass making it highly suitable for vertical axes.

- Optimal travel performance when moving large loads at high speeds with low traveling mass; suitable for vertical z-axis configurations
- Straight or angled gear reducer for attachment of motor
- Integrated zero–clearance Rexroth profiled rail system with high travel speeds up to 5 m/sec offering high rigidity and stiffness
- Compact, anodized aluminum profile frame
- Single point for lubrication to linear carriage (2 port locations available)
- Pre-tensioned and steel-reinforced toothed belt
- Mountable switches
- Pneumatic clamping units available
- Rexroth's matching drives, controllers and motors available
- Sinks for centering rings in the main body and end plates (EasyHandling) for mounting gripper systems and for multi-axis construction
- Can be used in a vertical axis by mounting the drive unit stationary with the module frame moving resulting in low traveling mass
- Configurable in lengths up to 5500 mm in any mounting configuration, offering ease and flexibility of design
- Offers a repeatability of +/- 0.10 mm with greater precision
- Increased design flexibility due to the proximity units mounted over the entire travel range
- Capable of multiple carriages, driven independently
