WS200 training system from Rexroth: Compact with field-proven components

The WS200 training system – exemplary equipped with an exercise from the project manual "First steps in on/off hydraulics"

Rexroth has developed a new, economical training system for practically oriented advanced and on-the-job training: Based on a modular design, the WS200 training system can be used for teaching basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and automation in an animated and realistic form. The economical entry-level solution is distinguished above all by its sturdy design in CE-certified industrial quality and its compactness. At the same time the modular design offers a high degree of investment security, because the system can be upgraded whenever needed and allow those with more advanced knowledge to extend technical expertise as well. The new WS200 training system is specifically designed for the requirements of schools, training establishments and training centers in industry and provides students and trainees with the ideal preparation for working for a company.

Like all training systems from Rexroth, the new WS200 is based on standard components from the various product lines of the drive and control expert. In particular the core competences in hydraulics have also been included in this training system. The safe, robust, durable and easy to use serial components provide students with a seamless transition to the requirements of the daily routine in industry, because these elements are what they will become familiar with in machines and systems in their future careers. Since it has a range of configuration options, the training system can be precisely set up for every different training topic. The complete package also comes with appropriate teaching and learning material, including exercise and project handbooks for teachers and students.

Operation from one or both sides

The WS200 training system is a compact basic solution for all technologies and is therefore highly versatile. The well-arranged design enables those with little experience to take their first steps in the world of hydraulics, pneumatics and automation. Step-by-step students can build up their own experience in the handling of field-proven components. The training system can be operated from one side or both. In terms of base carriers it is fitted with grid frames for the heavy hydraulic components and grooved panels for the pneumatic and automation elements. Accessories range from hose holder, hydraulic power units and electronic operator board. In addition, the mobile WS200 can also be easily extended using a simple connection system.

On show at the didacta trade fair

Rexroth will be showcasing the new WS200 training system at the didacta trade fair (Hall 6, Stand 6D48), taking place this year in Stuttgart from 25-29 March. More information is available in the Internet at .
