Flexible advance planning

For all service matters, manufacturers and operators can reach a Bosch Rexroth contact person day or night at the number +49 (0)9352 405060.

Rexroth Service increases availability of wind turbines

With a service concept tailored to their specific needs, manufacturers and operators increase the efficiency and availability of their systems. Flexible maintenance offerings from Rexroth safely ensure reliable operation of the wind turbine and reduce operating costs.

In order for service and maintenance concepts to increase the availability of wind turbines as much as possible, the selected levers and measures must be coordinated and mesh with each other optimally. For this reason, Bosch Rexroth users receive an individual service offer – from simple visual inspection as part of the semi-annual regular maintenance to comprehensive maintenance packages, for example as part of a warranty extension.

Speed minimizes downtimes

To limit repair times and downtimes to a minimum, service must be fast. In addition to error analysis and testing technologies, Bosch Rexroth users can draw on an extensive pool of replacement gearboxes and original spare parts at short notice. Replacement gearboxes are delivered within 72 hours. Plant-specific parts such as a brake system, clamping ring, cooling lubricant unit or Condition Monitoring solutions complement the scope of delivery and increase planning security.

Not only do gearbox repairs directly on-tower save users the costs of the crane, transport and workshop, but the measures necessary in the wind turbine are lower as well. Rexroth already performs 30 percent of gearbox repairs on-tower, without an external crane.

Advance planning prevents failures

In order for existing systems to work as efficiently as possible, Rexroth provides the operator with different methods of optimization. These include overhauls on the basis of the original documentation, automatic upgrades, reworking of gearbox components, replacement of bearing concepts, regrinding of the toothing, and Condition Monitoring.

Inspections in the field, such as endoscopy, oil analysis, structure-borne sound transmission measurement, and alignment, prevent damage. For all service matters, manufacturers and operators can reach a Bosch Rexroth contact person day or night at the number +49 (0)9352 405060.

Efficient wind energy

Modern Condition Monitoring Systems (CMS) from Rexroth can permanently reduce the cost of energy (CoE) of wind turbines. The BLADEcontrol from Rexroth, which is certified by Germanischer Lloyd, provides continuous rotor blade monitoring and ice detection. The Advanced Condition Monitoring System ACoS incorporates even the entire drive train and other subsystems into the condition monitoring. The result: holistic monitoring with a continuous control desk link.
