Markus Forschner will become new member to the Bosch Rexroth AG executive board

Predecessor Rolf-Dieter Amann is retiring

  • Dr. Markus Forschner will assume responsibility for purchasing, logistics, commercial tasks, and human resources
  • Dr. Rolf-Dieter Amann is retiring after more than 26 years

Dr. Markus Forschner (47) will be appointed to the executive board of Bosch Rexroth AG as of May 1, 2015. He will assume responsibility for purchasing, logistics, commercial tasks, and human resources. His predecessor, Dr. Rolf-Dieter Amann (56), will retire at the same time. He will continue to be active as a consultant for Bosch Rexroth.

Forschner is currently a member of the executive board of the Bosch Car Multimedia division based in Hildesheim and is responsible for commercial tasks. Forschner studied computer science and business administration at the University of Stuttgart, where he also wrote his doctoral thesis on the topic of “Process-Oriented Investment Controlling.” He began as a trainee at Bosch's Security Technology division in 1996. Forschner has long-term business experience at the company where, among other duties, he served as head of a thermotechnology plant in Portugal as well as Deputy Director of the corporate department for Planning and Controlling.

Dr. Rolf-Dieter Amann (56) will retire on April 30, 2015. Amann has been a member of the Bosch Rexroth executive board since 2013. He had previously served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration at Bosch Rexroth beginning in 2006 – first in the Hydraulics division and then for Industrial Applications.
