Focus on Multi-Technology and Industry Solutions

Rexroth to present numerous innovations at Hannover Messe

Achieving more with less effort: This is one of the basic requirements for successfully competing in the market. Rexroth offers custom-designed and economic solutions for the complete value creation process in mechanical engineering by keeping in mind energy efficiency along the complete life cycle of a machine or plant.

“Users are facing an enormous cost pressure due to globalization which they can only compensate with highly-productive machines and plants. Therefore, automation has to be perfectly tailored to the requirements of the individual industry. We offer appropriate solutions for many different industry sectors on the market. Rexroth has industry and application know-how that has developed over decades and we have on-site specialists all over the world to realize solutions and projects regionally. Resource efficiency becomes more and more important in this respect. With Rexroth 4EE (for Energy Efficiency), we have identified four different levers for higher energy efficiency, all of them acting across all drive and control technologies: products and systems with an optimized efficiency, energy recovery and storage of excess energy, energy usage on demand, and last but not least a systemic overall view with ideal project planning, simulation and consulting,” explains Dr. Steffen Haack, Senior Vice President Sales and Industry Sector Management Factory Automation of Bosch Rexroth AG's Business Unit Industrial Applications.

“Technology simply must be controllable. The market clearly demands easy and quick engineering in order to shorten the time to market. Our most important approach to this is our unique multi-technology competence and industry know-how for all drive and control technologies. With the IndraMotion MLC, for instance, Rexroth simplifies the realization of automations across all technologies on system level. All controls specific to hydraulic systems are already stored in the control software. Thus, Rexroth simplifies project planning, commissioning, operation, and diagnosis in highly-productive machine concepts. Users put the electric, hydraulic and hybrid drives into operation by conveniently using the same engineering tool IndraWorks,” says Lucas Wintjes, Senior Vice President Sales and Industry Sector Management Machinery Applications and Engineering of Bosch Rexroth AG's Business Unit Industrial Applications.
