The VarioFlow plus modular chain conveyor system lends for quick planning and assembly and offers low-noise and economical operation

Quick planning, short-term commissioning, high conveying capacity: VarioFlow plus chain conveyor system from Bosch Rexroth is optimized for quick assembly and convinces by particularly low-noise and economical operation. A choice between six track widths between 65 and 320 mm, seven chain sizes and two models in aluminum and stainless steel with FDA-compliant materials opens up a wide spectrum of applications as shown by a current example from the automotive industry.

To continuously improve work environments, noise development is attracting increasing attention. VarioFlow plus is Bosch Rexroth’s major contribution to noise reduction as this conveyor system offers particularly low-noise running characteristics thanks to slide rails with lateral mounting, low-friction materials and patented hinge bolts. At the same time, VarioFlow plus provides optimum sliding properties for reduced wear at tensile forces of up to 1,250 Newton including quick and functionally safe assembly.

The flexible application of the Rexroth chain conveyor system can be illustrated at an example from the automotive industry: For space-saving transportation of roof interior trims with a weight of up to six kg and improved handling, an interlinking solution based on VarioFlow plus has been developed to convey components at a height of approx. three meters directly to the robot unit at the machining station. The solution runs fully automatically. Only filling of the system and uncoupling of the finished roof interior trims is still realized manually. This results in increased productivity as personnel may use the freed up time to complete other tasks. By now, this automotive manufacturer operates four complete manufacturing lines with this solution.

In combination with the MTpro planning software, VarioFlow plus enables considerable time-savings already in the phase of project planning. The individual conveyor system can be realized in just a few steps – from selection of components by “drag-and-drop” including suitable workpiece pallet platforms over configuration down to order placement.

Once delivered, VarioFlow plus also convinces by quick commissioning as user-friendly modular system. This chain conveyor system is made up of standardized, in stock components with smart connection technology for quick assembly.

Economical, precise, safe and energy-efficient Drive and control technology from Bosch Rexroth move machinery and systems of any size. Statement

The factory of the future creates added value through flexibility and agility

In future production environments demands on adaptability will rise. This development can only be realized by separating hardware and software in automation. Bosch Rexroth AG promotes this development primarily with a broad product spectrum from sensors to drive and control technology to software solutions.

Productivity linearly increased

In high-volume production, users achieve a considerably higher productivity by means of lower transport times with the Linear Motion System (LMS) from Rexroth. The system is based on standard linear motors, where the workpiece carriers can be run independently. It positions workpieces precisely to within 10 µm, so that processing can start immediately without correction or transshipping to another assembly platform. This reduces unproductive delivery and idle times.
