Dr. Rolf-Dieter Amann appointed to the Bosch Rexroth AG executive board as of April 1, 2013

Dr. Georg Hanen to move to the Bosch Management Support GmbH

Lohr am Main – Dr. Rolf-Dieter Amann (54) will become new Bosch Rexroth AG board member as of April 1, 2013. He succeeds Dr. Georg Hanen. After ten years on the Rexroth executive board Hanen will move to the Bosch Management Support GmbH management board end of March. Amann will assume responsibility for purchasing, logistics, commercial tasks, and personnel.

Amann has served as the Commercial Plant Manager at Bosch Rexroth since 2006 – first in the Hydraulics division and then for Industrial Applications. After studying business economics and earning a Dr. rer. pol. title in Mannheim, he started as a trainee at Bosch in 1989. He then went on to serve the Bosch Group as commercial plant manager in Göttingen, as head of Controlling at the plant in Cardiff (UK), and as CFO at Lenksysteme GmbH.

Dr. Georg Hanen (59) has been a member of the Bosch Rexroth AG executive board since 2002. After holding several positions within the Bosch Group, Hanen worked abroad in the late 1980s as the commercial manager for three Bosch plants in Spain. Before moving to the Bosch Rexroth AG executive board, Dr. Hanen, who holds a doctorate in business administration, led the Planning and Controlling corporate department at Robert Bosch GmbH for four years.
