  • Executive Board reduced to four members

Responsibilities on the Executive Board of Bosch Rexroth will be reorganized. On November 1, 2022, Executive Board member Thomas Donato (50), previously responsible for mobile hydraulics, will take over responsibility for global sales and the factory automation business from Dr. Marc Wucherer (52), who is leaving the company at his own request at the end of October. Holger von Hebel, responsible for commercial activities, purchasing, logistics, IT and human resources, will also take over Donato’s responsibility for the mobile hydraulics business. As of November, the Executive Board of Bosch Rexroth AG will thus comprise four members: Dr. Steffen Haack, Thomas Donato, Holger von Hebel and Reinhard Schäfer.

Donato has been a member of the Executive Board of Bosch Rexroth since the beginning of 2022. Before that, he was a member of the Board of Management for Global Sales & Marketing at Rockwell Automation. At Bosch Rexroth, Donato is currently responsible for the mobile hydraulics business and also manages the corresponding Mobile Hydraulics business unit. On November 1, Matthias Aberle will take over the management of the business unit in addition to his production responsibility.

Industry specialist Wucherer joined Bosch Rexroth in 2017 and has since been responsible for global sales. Since the beginning of 2021, Wucherer has also been responsible for the factory automation business. Donato will also take over this task.

“Marc Wucherer has reorganized our sales over the last six years, led it with passion and achieved a record order intake with his global team last year,” Filiz Albrecht, Managing Director and Labor Director of Robert Bosch GmbH and Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Bosch Rexroth AG, says. “Our factory automation business has also benefited enormously from Wucherer’s expertise and developed successfully. I would like to thank him sincerely for this and for the excellent cooperation within the Executive Board. I wish him all the best for his personal and professional future.”
