Face the future with a well tested and tough drive

The Hägglunds CBP is suitable for demanding applications such as internal mixers in the rubber industry

Hägglunds CBP motor series from Bosch Rexroth creates many opportunities in the tire and rubber industry

CBP from Bosch Rexroth provides high power up to 3 MW with increased efficiency. The speed range covers the technical demands of the tire and rubber industry. This opens opportunities for drive solutions in many applications like internal mixers. The usage of the CBP provides a tremendous boost in performance, shorter cycle times, accurate control of the compound temperature, reduction of the noise level and improvements on Machinery Safety. This is the way to meet future demands.

The Hägglunds CBP has all the reliable characteristics of the Hägglunds direct hydraulic drive motors. It is compact and extremely powerful. It can be flange-mounted or torque arm mounted, all of the motors are fitted with splines shafts (DIN 5480) and have through-holes. The through-hole allows heating or cooling of the rotors. The CBP is fully variable for adapting torque and speed to optimize production, which may also lead to a reduction in energy consumption and increase the effective power input.

The CBP can operate continuously at high power and may have an integrated Quick-Stop function, essential for the safety of both workers and machine. The Quick-Stop is much faster than specified in DIN EN 1417 or any other solution on the market.

The CBP is extremely well tested, both in the Bosch Rexroth lab and in tough real-life conditions. In demanding rubber processes worldwide, this motor series provides power, versatility and control.

Economical, precise, safe, and energy efficient: drive and control technology from Bosch Rexroth moves machines and systems of any size. The company bundles global application experience in the market segments of Mobile Applications, Machinery Applications and Engineering, Factory Automation, and Renewable Energies to develop innovative components as well as tailored system solutions and services. Bosch Rexroth offers its customers hydraulics, electric drives and controls, gear technology, and linear motion and assembly technology all from one source. With locations in over 80 countries, more than 37,500 associates generated sales revenue of approximately 6.5 billion euros in 2012.

Intelligent hydraulics for increased availability

Connected hydraulics increase the availability of machinery and plants through condition monitoring and predictive maintenance. For this purpose, Rexroth offers scalable solutions, from individual units with local evaluation to the complete, cloud-based monitoring of large plants. Sensors measure all relevant operating conditions and software detects wear before it leads to failure. Retrofitting kits also economically integrate already installed plants into these concepts.

Linear motion, short time to market

Stand-alone linear axes are the trend. The combination of electrical drive unit and mechanical or hydraulic cylinder reduces installation space and engineering time and combines our specific professional knowledge in one system. With ready-to-mount and i4.0-enabled solution packages, Bosch Rexroth is in line with the current market requirements regarding electrification, digitalization and monitoring as well as condition-based maintenance. The uniform control and drive concept which is used in the different technologies serves as a basis for a short time to market and the economical implementation of hybrid solutions.
