With its Ball Rail Tables TKK and TKL, Rexroth offers ready-to-install solutions for linear motion applications with high rigidity requirements. The base plate of the ball rail tables is made from machined aluminum profiles or steel with reference edges. Integrated in this rigid axis are Rexroth ball rail systems with four long runner blocks per carriage. These can be driven by ball screws (TKK) or linear motors (TKL).

To achieve the most economical solution for each specific application, Rexroth also provides matching side drive timing belts or motor mounts and couplings, as well as various motor-controller combinations.

Benefits at a glance

TKK ( with ball screw drive)

  • Oil and temperature resistant bellows
  • Easy motor attachment using locating feature and mounting thread
  • High travel speeds over long distances thanks to ball rail systems, large screw diameters and leads, and double floating bearings
  • Rapid installation due to reference edges on the base plate

TKL (with linear motor)

  • High travel speeds and high acceleration rates thanks to excellent dynamics of the linear motor
  • Rapid and precise mounting using the machined reference edge on the base plate
  • High positioning accuracy due to distance-coded measuring system
  • High load capacity through the use of long runner blocks
