Heavy-duty roller rail systems size 100 & 125

Ever since Rexroth extended the performance range of its roller rail systems by adding size 100 and 125 solutions to the product range, more and more producers in the heavy machinery and engineering industry have made the transition to state-of-the-art antifriction bearing technology. In applications such as forming systems, heavy-duty metal cutting and handling systems for heavy loads, roller rail systems reduce friction by up to 90 percent compared to conventional slideways. This important performance advantage plus reduced assembly costs reduce machine manufacturing costs and significantly enhance precision.

Benefits at a Glance

  • Dynamic and static load capacity offers high performance density
  • Size 100 fills the load capacity gap between the conventional size 65 and Rexroth size 125
  • Same geometric dimensions on size 100 as the main competitors
  • Fully sealed (standard feature)
  • Grease and oil lubrication
  • Mounting from top and bottom
  • Excellent rigidity in all load axes
  • Withstand high torque loads
  • Various versions of standardized guide rails across all variations of runner blocks ensure unrestricted interchangeability and freedom to choose the combination you want
  • Lubrications fittings can be on all sides for easy maintenance
  • Newly designed lubrication channel reduces the amount of lubricant needed
  • Optimal roller guide design results in smoother, quieter operation
  • The entry zone geometry and a high number of rollers reduces fluctuations in spring action
  • Aluminum or plastic end caps
  • Corrosion-resistant Resist CR heavy-duty runner blocks and guide rails, matte silver, hard-chrome plated, precision class H (C2 and C3 preload) available as an option

Size 100 has a static load capacity of up to 1,218 kN. The dynamic load capacity with long runner blocks is 632 kN, which is equivalent to the maximum take-off weight of an Airbus 318.

Size 125 roller rail systems have a dynamic load capacity of up to 1,000 kN, and the static load capacity is even higher at 2,000 kN, which is equivalent to the weight of 200 cars.
