Additional information

Compact design, a high protection type and maximum forces up to 21,500 N – these are the properties that the MLF synchronous linear motors use to meet the challenges of machine tooling. With their low force ripple, these motors are particularly well suited to rapid movement of large masses in harsh environments. With their full encapsulation in titanium-alloy stainless steel, the motors are well-suited for use in the machining area of machine tools. Practical sizes are available in standard enclosures or thermal encapsulation for minimal heat input to the machine. The combination of several linear motors – whether in series or parallel – leads to completely new machine concepts for significantly increased machining forces.
