Greater transparency for the shop floor

  • Everything at a glance: 81 percent more space for widgets
  • Quick orientation thanks to a new navigation concept
  • Favorites, quick searches, media management etc. help to save time

The ACTIVE Cockpit interactive software solution from Bosch Rexroth can be used in a wide range of areas. Following a successful market launch, the front end of the software has been improved and expanded on the basis of user feedback. The redesigned basic software 5.0 offers more space for content and allows faster, more convenient digital interaction on the shop floor. A new navigation concept, favorites and the facility to search for widgets or other content help end users to achieve their goals even more quickly. The tool kit for increased productivity, availability and continuous process optimization is complemented by apps which allow KPIs, anomalies and measures to be recorded, analyzed and tracked digitally.

Increasing competitive pressure is forcing companies to increase their efficiency all the time while making technical and organizational improvements. The ACTIVE Cockpit 5.0 ensures the transparency and interaction on the shop floor needed for this. The software for large-scale touchscreens connects production and company IT with people. It does so with minimal administrative outlay and makes operation easier.

Employees in production can thus access relevant information more quickly, more easily and in a more targeted manner. Integrated apps and interfaces make it easier to identify possible improvements. App-to-app communication helps to avoid wastage and errors by sending relevant data to the right place.

For quicker orientation and control, the ACTIVE Cockpit 5.0 now has advanced page navigation, favorites and context-sensitive toolbars and bubble strips. Thanks to the new navigation concept, the content is more easily visible on the screen and can be accessed directly. Bookmarks can be defined with a click, selected later via the page navigation system or set as a start screen.

Additional grid sizes with an aspect ratio of 16:9 offer space for even more widget content on the start screen. Another new feature is the facility to display widget information in semi-transparent form. This option, which can be activated for specific users, provides a better overview. Images and videos can now be uploaded, edited and positioned conveniently via the new widget type Media. A new player also allows content to be played back in a continuous loop. Remarks and notes have also been supplemented.

Flexible expansions: Additional modules for the basic version

The ACTIVE Cockpit basic software includes Dashboard, Administrator UI, Views, Meetings and Notes modules as well as the Desklink function for transferring content to the interface. The platform offers additional modules such as Lean Indicator, Deviation Manager and App Diagram to ensure the necessary connectivity with the back end. With the help of these modules, quality and security incidents as well as faults can be recorded, tracked and managed digitally. KPIs can also be configured and conveniently visualized, analyzed and presented together with live data. Commissioning all software modules requires no extra programming and configuration is easy.

Three-month trial offer

The new ACTIVE Cockpit basic software 5.0 is now available from the Rexroth eShop . Anyone who is interested can also order a Trial 3M version with a trial license for three months.
